We film and edit in high definition to produce a Blu-Ray master. This is scaled down to make standard DVDs. Additional copies on Blu-ray disc are £20.
NOTE:
The blu-ray discs of feature films are mass produced from a glass master. The blu-ray discs we produce are individually burned with a computer, and a few older blu-ray players may not support this type of disc (owing to a copyright issue between manufacturers and film studios, which has now been resolved).
So, if buying a Blu-Ray player, please check that it plays BD-R. (It's the "-R" part that matters). All new players support BD-R, check the manufacturer's website for details. The following are examples of players that include BD-R playback in their specifications.
UPDATE: All the new players we have checked will play BD-R. But if you are buying a slightly older model, the following is a list of compatible players available for under £100.
